Festival Of Arts Jewelry Booth

Here we have the display booth for the famous FOA (Festival Of Arts) in Laguna Beach. We built it for the award winning and talented Adam Neeley, fine art jewelry designer. It was a redesign from the last booth which was used for about twelve years in various configurations. You can see some of these under our Services - Mobile Sales.

This design was build around the black acrylic cubes that were being repurposed from a gallery in San Francisco.

The main feature was the grain direction in the walnut wood veneer, which brings the focus to the center cube and the lower cabinet. Then the side holding the name, was layered with marble tile. Finishing it all off with a crowning of the lighting gantry, which houses high output, color correct LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting.

The display is three separate units, split down the center of the grain and between the marble and wood. Which allows the marble section to reside on either left or right of the wooden pair. Primary materials used: Lightweight MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), Walnut Veneer and Black Acrylic. These hang on the FOA supplied Steel and Wood structure. The cubes are lit by LED lighting and are key locked. The lower cabinet was an off-the-shelf unit, with the only modification of adding RFID (radio-frequency identification) locks.

Adam wanted to achieve a high end display for his exquisite jewelry creations, which would stand out from any other on the show ground. I think we achieved that goal.
